Can You Tell Time?

Today, my sweet little AbiLyn wanted me to untie her unicorn stick horse from her bed. She had "hitched" him there for the night and couldn't get him loose. It was in like a deci-knot... While I was untying it, I asked her, "How long did it take you to tie all these knots?" My question was barely formed when she replied, "7 minutes." SHE'S 4 YEARS OLD! She can't tell time! Why 7 minutes? What's the logic? This is a very mild example of the unanswered questions of parenthood, I guess....
